The Madison Forum Presents Their Inaugural Cobb County Constitution Contest

The Madison Forum, a Marietta based non-partisan organization focused on promoting "Good Government" is planning an annual Constitutional Contest for Cobb County 4th grade classes.  The purpose of the contest is to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the intent and ideas behind the United States Constitution.  4th graders will compete as a class, with the finals to be hosted at a local venue and, hopefully, televised on Channel 23 or Public Television.  Plans are to raise $25,000 from donations, sponsorships, etc., for a prize to be divided between the winning teacher and the classroom.

Dr. John E. Abraham, a Madison Forum member, will facilitate a
discussion on the specifics of this contest at the Madison Forum
Breakfast Saturday, November 25th, at the Marietta Conference Center.  All interested parties are invited to attend this meeting.  Arrival 8:00AM Program 8:30AM.
